TypeTopia is an online typing course for children. Through an exciting and playful story the participant is asked to help the main character by accomplishing various assignments. The child will learn to type faster and even touch typing in the end, having a lot of benefit for the child in the future.

Niels Hendriks Studio was asked to make a re-desin sketch for the homepage based on a usuability report, including the needs and wants of children and parents.

This assignment was given to more than one webdesigner, being able to make a choice. Unfortunately the choice of TypeTopia was not my design. TypeTopia was pleased how the program elements were integrated in the new design, but it lacked the serious look they were looking for.

Nevertheless, it is a good design to add to the portfolio.
